ABOUT ME

Paul R. Daniele, Esq.

I founded this law firm in order to provide affordable legal services for individuals and families looking to address their need for a will, power of attorney, living will, special needs of a family member, pre-Medicaid planning, health care proxies, trust (revocable, irrevocable including asset protection provisions) and business succession planning.  I am also a member of Nationally recognized Elder Counsel, American Bar Association, New York Bar Association, the NJ Bar Association committee on Estate Planning and I am proud to say that I am approved by the Veterans Administration.

I have been practicing law in New Jersey for 50 years.  I earned my J.D. at New York Law School in 1967.  Since that time, I have become an integral part of the legal community at large. I was the first attorney hired in the Somerset County Legal Services in 1967.  I served as an Assistant Prosecutor (1968-1974) and sat as a Newark Municipal Court Judge for 27 years (1979-2006).

I was awarded the Newark Peace Prize in 1991.  As a Judge, I was a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court's Municipal Court Practice Committee.  I instructed college-level legal courses at Fairleigh Dickinson University.  My private practice is now limited to Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Asset Protection.

I have always taken an interest in my community and country.  I am the founder of the Newark Truancy Alternative Project, a former Flotilla Commander for the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, and hold a Near Coastal Master's License issued by the United States Coast Guard.  I am a member of the Knights of Columbus and an ordained Deacon.

I am also a family man.  I have been married for 48 years, am the father of three, and a Grandfather of three.

My civic-mindedness, family values, and judicial and legal experience benefit my clients at Daniele Law, LLC.
